This study aimed to "Determine the influence of Healthy Practices on the Nutritional Status of children under 5 years of age attended at Soritor Health Center, June - November 2018". The following is a basic, non-experimental, descriptive, correlational research, its population and sample was 121 mothers of children under 05 years. The technique was the survey and as an instrument the questionnaire of healthy practices. As results; mothers of children under 5 years of age attended at Soritor Health Center, were characterized by 79.2% being 20 to 34 years old, 44.6% having primary education, 79.3% They come from the urban area and 53.7% are housewives. According to healthy practices by dimensions, we observe that 70.2% properly wash their hands, 63.6% have adequate eating habits and 75.2% consume safe water. The predominant nutritional status in children under 5 years is normal in 71.1%, followed by malnutrition in 22.3% and overweight in 5.8%. In conclusion, there is significant influence between healthy practices and the nutritional status of children under 5 years of age, because they have an X2 = 22,185 and a p = 0.000, that is, that the appropriate healthy practices adopted by the mothers influence the nutritional status of the child.
