The present work of Thesis for opting for the Professional Title Civil Engineer, has been developed with the purpose of carrying out a technical-scientific contribution to help solve a problem of walkability of a track, which when executed will provide a road that would contribute to the socio-economic development of the beneficiary population. The research is applied and has been carried out by the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, of the National University of San Martin. This work has been developed by applying On the ground the theories and existing standards of topography, soil mechanics, traffic, roads and other related services and have allowed the design of the pavement at the level of stated the improvement of Road Chazuta - Shilcayo, L= 11.00 Km. The results show that it is possible to achieve, from the correct application of theories, studies and conclusive results, that after the measured analysis can be presented the design of the pavement at the level of stated, evaluating its feasibility in its full context, optimizing its roads. For the research developed the design of the pavement of the improvement of road in study, engineering methods known for these types of studies, in two phases of work: field and cabinet . During the field phase of the evaluation and inventory of the current path: definition of the stroke end, topographic survey of the track, consisting of the stroke, leveling, switching and placement of Bench Mark, execution of 23 trial pits along the track for studies in soil mechanics; traffic study, necessary for the design of the paving of the road. In the phase of cabinet proceeded to process and interpret field data obtained, the different trials in soil mechanics and process the topographical plans and the traffic study, carried out the design of the pavement at the level of stated.
