Subsequently, to complement the above, the following specific objectives have been established: to identify the dimensions of the jurisdictional bodies in all their extremes, to recognize the dimensions of the statute of limitations for misdemeanors against the person in the Magistrates' Courts of Tarapoto, 2021 and to determine the factors of the statute of limitations for misdemeanors against the person in the Magistrates' Courts of Tarapoto, 2021. This was an applied research, with a quantitative approach, simple descriptive level, having as main instrument the survey of 50 judicial employees, including judges, judicial officers and users of the legal services of the Courts, following this line and to reinforce the achievement of 31 judicial records of the proceedings for misdemeanors against the person where the resolutions of prescription have been issued, for them the documentary analysis guide has been used. The survey results showed that 60.00% of the respondents stated that they were affected, while the analysis of the files in proceedings for misdemeanors against the person revealed internal and external factors that were determinant for the issuance of the statute of limitations resolutions. It is concluded that the level of effectiveness of the jurisdictional bodies in dealing with statutes of limitations for offenses against the person, Tarapoto Magistrates' Courts, 2021 is high at 72%, due to the normality test applied to the variables, where a p. value of 0.000 was obtained, which is less than Alpha (0.05), indicating that the data of the variables under study follow a normal distribution, thus accepting the hypothesis.
