The following research focuses on the quantity and quality of water in the Santa Clara creek for population purposes, from which the following results were obtained. In terms of water quantity, the evaluation of water availability generated a surplus of water for the three cases, with minimum flows, water availability was obtained without a project of 343 755 m3 / year and water accreditation for the project of 11 029 m3 / year, with medium flows, water availability was obtained without a project of 1 292 220 m3 / year and water accreditation for the project of 11 029 m3 / year and with maximum flow rates was obtained water availability without project of 2 748 820 m3 / year and water accreditation for the project of 11 029 m3 / year, according to these results it is possible to use the source of supply in the point of capture with population end in the Santa Clara creek. In terms of water quality through the results of laboratory analysis, it is observed that in the microbiological parameters alterations in the water ECAs were identified, since the total coliforms are> 23 NMP / 100mL and the thermotolerant or fecal coliforms are > 23 NMP / 100mL, these results lead to the type of water purification treatment that according to the DS N ° 004-2017-MINAM has to be treated only by disinfection, however, for other types of factors (climate, soil type, vegetation cover, etc.) some types of pre-treatment should be considered to avoid cutting the service and alteration of water quality.
