The methodological route was of a basic type, of correlational design. Results: In the socioeconomic determinants, it was observed that the age of the parents is between 23 and 32 years, with 59.7% for the father and 54.8% for the mother; in regard to the educational background of the father, 36% is technical and 42.5% of the mothers completed their secondary education; finally, both fathers and mothers are dependent workers with 54.3% for the fathers and 36% for the mothers respectively. In terms of the physical environment, 74.7% live in dwellings of noble material, 81.2% have complete basic services and 93.5% have public cleaning services. The lifestyle dimension shows that 53.2% of mothers of children under 5 years old have an imbalanced and unhealthy diet; only 46.8% practice a healthy diet; 56.4% have unbalanced and undefined food consumption habits; 71% of the family practice physical activities sporadically; finally, 55.4% show occasional consumption of tobacco and alcohol. Finally, in the dimension of interactions with social and community networks, 78% always have access to health services, and 81.7% report that they sometimes receive organized social support. The incidence of iron deficiency anemia in children under 5 years old in the district of Cacatachi is significant, with 32.3%. Regarding the social determinant of health with the greatest relationship with iron deficiency anemia, it is the determinant of lifestyles, with a high correlation magnitude (rho = -0.503) and it is statistically significant (p-value < 0.05). Conclusion: It was determined that the social determinants of health are not significantly related to iron deficiency anemia in children under 5 years of age in the district of Cacatachi, 2023 (p-value = 0.650 >0.05).
