The present study is framed within the perspective that as soon as an individual comes into the world, he/she begins to interact with the surrounding environment, with society, and it is from then on that interaction, development and communication between people of the same society originates. For this the individual must develop certain skills, such as oral expression, which focuses on the way in which we communicate our ideas and thoughts easily in front of an audience. The research was developed through various sessions that included didactic games that contribute to the oral expression of infants. The main purpose was to evaluate the positive impact of play techniques on the development of oral expression of 4-year-old children belonging to the ZADADEN preschool educational institution in Rioja, during the year 2021. The research was applied, with an experimental level and pre-experimental design, and SPSS v28 was used to process the data obtained, the pedagogical proposal was structured, subsequently it was based on related theories, and finally, the improvement of oral expression in the infants was evaluated. The conclusions reached reveal that, in the initial evaluation phase (pretest), 93.3% of the four-year-old children obtained a rating of in process, while 6.7% received a rating of at the beginning. However, after the implementation of the ludic strategies, there is evidence of progress in the children's oral expression skills in terms of clarity, fluency and coherence: 66.7% were rated as in process and 33.3% reached the qualification of achieved. This result reinforces the hypothesis of a significant difference between pre- and post-test measurements after conducting eight class sessions through the implementation of the play strategies. Consequently, with 95% confidence, it is concluded that the application of these techniques has contributed significantly to the development of oral expression in four-year-old children of the ZADADEN Preschool Educational Institution in Rioja during theyear 2021.
