Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment in patients treated by outpatient clinic, Hospital II-2 Tarapoto, June-December, 2023 Introduction: The Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (CGA) in older adults in the Geriatrics outpatient clinic of Hospital II-2 Tarapoto, will allow better diagnosis, treatment and follow-up, focusing not only on medical aspects, but also on other areas that are often overlooked, such as functionality, geriatric syndromes, cognitive disorders and social risks. Objective: To analyze through comprehensive geriatric assessment the problems of functional, mental, affective and socio-familial assessment in patients attended by outpatients at Hospital II-2 Tarapoto, June - December, 2023. Materials and methods: Descriptive, non-experimental, retrospective, cross-sectional, retrospective study carried out in the Geriatrics outpatient clinic at the II-2 Tarapoto MINSA Hospital from June to December 2023. The variables of the Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (functional, cognitive, affective and socio-family assessment) were collected from the clinical history and the data collection form (Annex 2). Results: 223 patients were evaluated (62.3% female sex, age: 73.19±8.261 years). In the comprehensive geriatric evaluation by spheres: 31.3% had some type of partial dependence, 15.7% had mild cognitive impairment, 37.2% had depressive manifestations and 63.3% were at social risk. Conclusion: The patients attending the Geriatrics outpatient clinic were mostly women, functionally independent, without cognitive impairment or depressive manifestations, and there were social and family risks.
