With the general objective of evaluating the onion crop (Allium cepa L) variety Roja Arequipeña cultivated during the four lunar phases in the district of Lamas and considering as specific objectives: to evaluate the agronomic behavior and determine the best yield in the different lunar phases, the Completely Randomized Block Design (CSBD) was used, with 4 treatments and 4 replications, and with 16 experimental units. The treatments were the lunar phases: new moon (T1), first quarter (T2), full moon (T3) and last quarter (T4), sown in seedbed on October 4, 11, 17 and 26, 2018 and in final field on November 04, 11, 17 and 26, 2018, respectively. The evaluations of the studied variables were: Plant height (cm), Collar diameter (cm), Bulb diameter, Bulb length or head (cm), Bulb weight (g) and Yield (kg.ha-1), leading to the following conclusions: the highest average yield was obtained with T3 (full moon), with 47 749.96 kg.ha-1, statistically superior to the treatments T4 (last quarter), T2 (first quarter) and T1 (new moon). Treatment T4 (last quarter), treatment T2 (first quarter) and treatment T1 (new moon) had lower percentage responses than T3 of 18.15%, 27.92% and 41.71% respectively, being this behavior similar to head weight, head diameter and neck diameter. In the first phase (T2) the highest average of plant height was obtained with 36.52 cm.
