The research was carried out in the village of Nueva Esperanza located in the district of Soritor, with the main objective of "Determining the influence of the use of organic waste in the implementation of a bio-garden in the village of Nueva Esperanza in the district of Soritor - Moyobamba". The organic waste was collected from 41 houses in the village in order to determine the per capita generation and at the same time produce compost during a period of four months, where parameters such as pH, temperature, humidity, C:N ratio, phosphorus, potassium and nitrogen were evaluated using manual instruments and taking samples to the local laboratory. In addition, Chinese onion and parsley plants were seeded in the vegetables beds, with 0 kg of organic fertilizer for the first one and 10 and 20 kg of compost for the second and third vegetables, respectively. The heights of each plant were measured two months after planting, using instruments such as a meter stick and a tape measure. Finally, the influence of the residues in the biogardens was evaluated using analysis of variance and Duncan's test. The results showed a per capita generation of organic solid waste of 0.43 kg/inhab/day, with a total generation of 51.43 kg/day. It was also determined that the highest average height of Chinese onion and parsley were obtained in the vegetable garden where 20 kg of compost was applied and the lowest average height where none was applied. It is concluded that the organic solid residues produced in the Nueva Esperanza village influence the production of biogardens such as Chinese onion and parsley.
