The objective of the research was to determine retrospectively the incidence of Leptospirosis and diseases transmitted by poisonous animals in patients treated in the province of Lamas from 2014 to 2018. The research consisted of a population of 361 medical records of patients treated in the Lamas health network. The documentary review technique was used as a data collection instrument. Pearson's Chi-square test was used for statistical analysis. The results indicate that the male gender is more affected by Loxoscelism 52.9% and Ophidism 66.67% whereas Leptospirosis affects both genders equally. The most affected age groups are between 30 and 59 years old, and adults over 60 years old are the most affected by Leptospirosis. The district of Lamas has the highest number of patients suffering from Leptospirosis problems (64.29%) and Barranquita (30.52%) are problems caused by snake bites, the most affected patients are from rural areas. According to the place of the accident, they occur within and outside the home, and summer and winter are the seasons of the year with the highest frequency of cases. Cases present visceral cutaneous and visceral systemic clinical form; local signs and symptoms caused by snakes are pain, pruritus, necrosis, swelling, bleeding. Loxoscelism presents edema, pain and pruritus. Systemic symptoms caused by snakebite are fever, myalgia, headache, nausea; spider bite causes necrosis, tachycardia, headache, fever; those of Leptospirosis have fever, myalgia, vomiting, jaundice and diarrhea. The most frequent treatment for snake attacks is analgesic and antiophidic serum (99.53%), for arachnids antihistamine and analgesic (99.25%), and for bacterial problems it is antihistamine and analgesic (100%). The vectors of Leptospirosis are rodents (71.4%) and cattle (28.57%); the form of transmission is contaminated food (71.4%) and contaminated water (28.57%). In conclusion, the districts with the highest incidence are Lamas 64.29% and Barranquita 35.71%, Loxoscelism and Ophidism occur more frequently in patients with a primary level.
