The Biota of aquatic ecosystems have adapted to the physical and chemical conditions of this environment and their conservation, development and sustainability depend directly on the anthropogenic conditions that surround them, therefore the deterioration of water quality has become a reason of concern worldwide, being one of the causes the agricultural expansion, the Collpa stream is not exempt of said reality; therefore, this work was aimed at determining the impact of human activity on the physical and chemical quality in the waters of the stream, for this purpose, monthly monitoring was carried out during 04 periods, in four stations, being: P01- impacted water by livestock activity, P02 by fish farm activity, P03 by rice activity and P04 by rice activity and corn harvest. The parameters arrived on average to measure: Color 14,375 UPC, the turbidity measured 30,975 NTU, the pH with 6,89, the total dissolved solids 65,66 ppm, the temperature with 24,68 ° C, nitrates (NO3-) present with 3.13 mg / L, phosphates (PO4-3) registered a value of 23.17 mg / L, the dissolved oxygen presents a value of 4.13 mg / L and the alkalinity of the stream with 39.71 ppm. So, it is concluded that in the first monitoring point, where water is used for livestock, does not meet the environmental quality standards, and in the other points, where diverse anthropic activities are carried out (agriculture, fish farms), either they are within the range of environmental quality standards for vegetable irrigation water.
