Abstract The research entitled "Factors of Delinquency and its impact on the Financial Economic Situation of the San Mateo Adventist Educational Institution, period 2017-2018.". This is an applied type of research, explanatory level, non-experimental design, with a quantitative approach, applying the observation technique and the observation guide as an instrument. It is concluded that, the factors of delinquency and its impact on the financial economic situation of the San Mateo Adventist Educational Institution, period 2017-2018, is high; where the economic and financial ratios are deficient. The factors that originate the delinquency are related to the debtor agent with 30.9% of occurrence, and from the management elements of the company, out of 7 indicators, 3 of them are not met or are not applied from the point of view of effectiveness; a level of delinquency of 36.00% in 2017 and 39.05% in 2018 was observed. Delinquency affects the economic and financial situation, where general liquidity in 2017 is 6.04 and 6.84 in 2018, defensive liquidity of 0.02 in 2017, 0.04 in 2018; supplier payment period with 82.9 in 2017 and 87. 08 in 2018; portfolio turnover of 129.6 in 2016 and 140.57 in 2018; short-term borrowing capacity of 0.18 in 2017 and 0.15 in 2018, profitability of 1.15 in 2017 and 1.0 in 2018 and return on sales of 0.45 for both years.
