Improvement and expansion of the drinking water system in the town of Pachiza, district of Pachiza – Mariscal Cáceres province – San Martín The objective of this research is to solve social problems using infrastructure. It is descriptive and applicative. The objective of the project is to improve and expand the drinking water system in the town of Pachiza, Pachiza district, Mariscal Caceres province, San Martin with a detailed procedure. It includes field studies that will provide detailed information about the project site. The project will improve and expand potable water service using a surface type source known as "Lancetilla". A gravity type treatment system is being designed that includes intake, grit chamber, conveyance line, air valves, bleed valves, pressure relief chamber, aerial pass, settler, slow filter, disinfection chamber, flow meter, supported reservoir, adduction line, distribution networks, control valves, bleed valves, and domestic connections. The development of the project is based on the viability of the service and the demands of the community, which allows the quality of life of the population to improve, resulting in an increase in both commerce and population.
