Risk factors associated with pre-eclampsia in pregnant women attended at the Hospital II-1 Moyobamba, 2022 The purpose of this study was to determine the risk factors associated with preeclampsia in pregnant women attended at the II-1 Hospital of Moyobamba, 2022. The methods used were quantitative, basic, descriptive and correlational. The population included all the medical records of pregnant women attended in 2022, from which a sample of 180 patients was obtained. The results show a high prevalence of severe preeclampsia among the pregnant women attended, with 85.6% of the 90 cases diagnosed being severe and only 14.4% being non-severe. In conclusion, the study at the II-1 Hospital in Moyobamba in 2022 identified that a history of preeclampsia in previous gestations, gestational age and short intergestational period have a significant association with preeclampsia. Specifically, preterm gestational age and short intergestational periods increase the probability of developing this condition. On the other hand, parity, prenatal controls, history of abortion, multiple pregnancy, body mass index, chronic arterial hypertension, chronic renal disease and diabetes mellitus did not show a significant relationship with preeclampsia.
