The present research was applied at a comparative descriptive level and had as a sample 16 participants between 10 and 17 years old, allowing the use of various structured and systematized knowledge about digital democracy, put in context; the learning process of each participant was respected, and the children and adolescents of the village were personally and socially strengthened, the opportunity for cognitive growth and civic citizenship training was provided for the recognition of duties and rights that will be of vital importance for their civic performance; thus promoting the development of their citizenship and political analysis based on the acquired knowledge. This research was materialized through the application of the Soft Systems Methodology and Information and Communication Technology to design a teaching-learning model on digital democracy. Didactic and audiovisual material, infographics from the virtual page of the National Directorate of Education and Civic Training of the National Jury of Elections, as well as self-made audiovisual presentations were used. Likewise, a pre- and post-test were elaborated to the participants, identifying that the application of digital democracy does have a significant influence on the recognition of duties and rights in children and adolescents of the Virgen del Pilar Children's Village - Morales.
