The objective of the present research was to determine the level of knowledge about immunizations in children under five years of age, in students of the VI to VIII Cycle of the Nursing Career, Faculty of Health Sciences - National University of San Martin Tarapoto, 2019. The research was non-experimental, quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional. The population and sample consisted of 100 students. The results obtained were that the level of knowledge about the national vaccination scheme in children under five years of age is poor in 52.6% followed by a regular level in 44.7% and with good level 2.6%, regarding the level of knowledge about the types of vaccines in children under 5 years of age, 55.3% was regular, the poor level with 36.8% and good in 7.9% respectively. Regarding the level of knowledge about the conservation and application of vaccines, it was found that 60.5% of 100% of the population had a poor level of knowledge, 36.8% had a medium level of knowledge, and 2.6% had a good level of knowledge. With respect to the events attributed to vaccines in children under 5 years of age, the level of knowledge was poor with 68.4% with a tendency to regular in 28.9% and good in 2.6%.
