BIM methodology to minimize design and metering deficiencies of the water and sanitation project of the Juningue Populated Center – Moyobamba The general objective of this research is to apply the Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodology to minimize deficiencies in the design and metering of a hydraulic infrastructure project. A project elaborated with the traditional methodology was used as a practical case, which is located in the Centro Poblado Juningue, in the district of Moyobamba, province of Moyobamba, department of San Martín. To meet the proposed objectives, the investigation had an execution period from 07-08-2021 to 07-07-2022. First, the modeling of all the components of the project was carried out from the documents of the technical file using Revit and/or Civil 3D software with a Level of Detail - LOD 3 and a Level of Information - LOI 3, in the modeling process. Inconsistencies, such as incompatibilities, omissions and interferences, were identified, then the models were coordinated in Navisworks, which also allowed us to detect interferences through its specialized Clash Detective tool. Once all the incidents were resolved, the quantifications (metrics) of the modeling software were extracted, then the measurements made with the traditional methodology and the BIM methodology were compared using Microsoft Excel, finally the detailed documentation (drawings) of all was generated. the generated models. In conclusion, the BIM methodology is not only applied to building projects, but also to infrastructure, the present investigation being a clear example, in which it allows the generation of detailed plans, measurements and detection of incidents (incompatibilities, omissions and interferences).
