The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between family dynamics and the consumption of alcoholic beverages in adolescents of the Alberto Leveau García Educational Institution, Province of Picota, Department of San Martin. Period May to October 2021. It was a descriptive correlational cross-sectional study, the sample consisted of 390 adolescents from the Luis Alberto Leveau García Educational Institution. Province of Picota. The instruments used for data collection were two questionnaires: "Family Dynamics of Children and Adolescents" of the "Casitas Comprehensive Development Program of the NGO Encuentros" in the district of El Agustino and the "Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test" (AUDIT). The results obtained regarding the family dynamics of the adolescents of the Alberto Leveau García Educational Institution show that it has a regular level in the dimensions of authority, communication, relationships between parents and value beliefs with 48.5%, 41.8%, 45.4% and 49.2% respectively. In terms of alcohol consumption, 49.7% (194) of the participants presented a low risk, 49.0% (191) presented a medium risk, 1.3% (5) presented a high risk and none of the participants presented probable addiction. When contrasting the hypothesis, it is evident that there is a significant relationship between family dynamics and the consumption of alcoholic beverages among adolescents at the Alberto Leveau García Educational Institution, province of Picota, May to October 2021 (p=0.028).
