The present research work "Environmental valuation of forest species timber and non timber products of the ravine Fachin, Moyobamba - 2014", had as purpose to determine the Environmental Assessment; Identifying the timber and non-timber tree species found in the research area. The research area is covered by a total of 3.4 hectares, of which 10 were intentional sampling plot throughout the extensive area, where each plot had a minimum of 10 m x 10 m., having a total sample area of 2986.48 m², where they found 177 individuals tree timber; It was considered in the decision of the diameter (DAP), commercial height (HC), total height (HT), and with this is able to determine the Margalef richness (IR) index, future population (PF), density (d) and importance value index (IVI). 30 different species were identified, which are covered by 20 families, where the most abundant are the Lauraceae with 3 different species that are the Lemon Moena (Ocotea sp), moena (Aniba amazonica) and avocado (Persea americana). According to the non-timber species were identified 22 different species, where it is the dominant family Arecaceae with 4 different species which are the aguaje (Mauritia flexuosa), Hawaiian palm (Dypsis lutescens), Cashapona (Socratea exorrhiza) and Chonta palm (Bactris gasipaes). For the determination of the environmental evaluation, it was determined according to the results of the importance value index; where 20 species of value IVI; obtained the greater weight of ecological.
