The research entitled "Corporate image and positioning of the home appliance trading company Tiendas EFE S.A, Tarapoto 2018", has as general objective to establish the relationship between the variables; in the methodological aspect the type of study was applied, with descriptive - relational level and non-experimental design, the sample consisted of 118 customers, the instrument for collecting information was questionnaires. The results showed that the corporate image was rated as inadequate, as 53% of the study unit that corresponds to 62 of the 118 respondents perceived it as inadequate, in addition, the positioning was identified as low in 58%, this was due to the fact that they hardly ever consider that the service they received was the best. Furthermore, this adds to the fact that if they had the option of finding a cheaper service, they would not hesitate to do it. It concludes that the corporate image was positively and significantly related to the positioning of the commercializing company of home appliances Tiendas EFE S.A, Tarapoto; likewise, this was validated through the application of the nonparametric statistical test Spearman's Rho, where the Bilateral sig. was 0.000 less than the margin of error 0.05. In addition, the degree of correlation was considerably positive with 0.778, which allowed the study hypothesis to be accepted; this means that the more adequate the corporate image is, the higher the level of positioning will respond positively.
