This research seeks to evaluate the degree of air pollution, which is explained by the final disposal of solid waste in the dump of the city of Moyobamba. Pretending in this way to propose strategies to minimize air pollution in the area of the dump. The techniques used for the development of the research have been carried out the visits to the dump, to evaluate in situ the gases that are emitted into the atmosphere with the use of the sampling train, the descriptive statistics, for the analysis of the effects generated by the Root of The inadequate final disposal of solid waste in the dump. In addition, the respective graphs are shown as the bar diagram, to achieve the interpretation of the evaluation carried out in the municipal dump of Moyobamba. In addition to having used the photographic record and technical specifications. The results obtained are: air pollution that generates the final disposal of solid waste in the dump of the city of Moyobamba, through the management of gases SO2, CH4 and H2S, at two monitoring points, finding general average at the Windward point of 3.45 ug / m3 for SO2; 2.75 ug / m3 for CH4, and 5.03 ug / m3 for H2S and in Leeward 5.33 ug / m3 for SO2, 27.25 ug / m3 for CH4, and 8.25 ug / m3 for H2S. Likewise, it has been possible to verify that, in the two monitoring points carried out, the values established for SO2 and H2S do not exceed the standard established in D.S N ° 003-2017-MINAM (Environmental quality standards for air).
