The general goal of this current research was to determine the benefits from the exploitation of home organic wastes in the vegetables crop on a bio-garden in the Rumiyacu View sector, having as first specific objective to determine the biometric characteristics of the vegetables grown on the bio-garden, as second specific objective to determine the significant differences between the treatments in regard to the exploitation of the organic wastes and as a third specific objective to determine to optimal treatment. On the methodological part, we worked with a random complete design on an area of 40 m2 experimenting with three types of vegetables: radish, lettuce and cucumber. As for the results, applying the Tukey HSD Test, with a trust level of 95% the conclusion was that the manure made based on the exploitation of the home organic wastes added with a dose of ash produced the best results, being proved in the average weight of the fruits of radish and cucumber and in the number of lettuce leaves in comparison with the plot of land that wasn’t fertilized and that served as witness or parameter of comparison. Finally, by running the variance analysis we conclude that exist significant differences between manures proving that these act in a different way when it comes to its influence on the weight of the fruits, the size of the plant and the number of leaves.
