Currently, the construction industry is an important sector in the economic development of a country, therefore, it deserves that construction companies implement new management systems with a Lean Construction approach in order to maximize efficiency and minimize waste in the projects. The multifamily housing project as a case study is located in the province of Trujillo, department of La Libertad, whose first three towers were executed based on a traditional method, which caused non-compliance with the deadline and budget in the items of concrete, steel and formwork related to labor, since various deficiencies occurred due to lack of adequate planning, excessive hiring of labor and lack of monitoring and progress control. That is why this research work focuses on the implementation of management tools based on the Lean Construction model for adequate planning, analysis of restrictions, problem solving and control for compliance with the schedule and cost of the project. This work is expected to encourage professionals and companies in the construction industry to opt for the use of this methodology, promoting a culture of continuous improvement in the industry, and innovation in construction technologies.
