The general objective of this study was to analyze the physical and mechanical characteristics of aggregates from the Puente Serranos and Zapata quarries for the design of concrete F'c= 280 kg/cm2. This study was developed with the purpose of informing the population and construction companies about the quality and durability of the quarries under study for their use in the construction of any structure. It was a quantitative research with applied purpose, descriptive level and non-experimental design. Two quarries in the province of Sullana, Puente Serranos and Zapata, were chosen for a preliminary study in order to compare their physical and mechanical properties, determining that both quarries comply with the parameters established according to ASTM C33 Standard. Once the results were obtained, it was determined to apply the Fuller Method for the elaboration of concrete with a resistance of F'c= 280 kg/cm2, because the physical and mechanical properties are not within the established parameters, therefore, the compliance of the Slump test was obtained allowing an adequate consistency and workability
