Determine the level of knowledge and attitude regarding signs and symptoms of preeclampsia in pregnant women treated at the IPRESS Morona Cocha from May to August 2023. Methodology. Quantitative study, with a descriptive correlational design, cross-sectional and prospective in a sample of 183 pregnant women. Outcome. Result. Sociodemographic characteristics: age 20 to 34 years 72.1%, secondary education level 62.3%, urban origin 92.3%, housewife occupation 58.5% and cohabiting marital status. In obstetric characteristics: primigravida 44.8%, start of prenatal care before 14 weeks 71.0%, gestational age from 14 to 27 weeks, less than six prenatal care and 85.4% had no history of preeclampsia. The level of knowledge about signs and symptoms of preeclampsia was poor in 90.8% of the pregnant women and the negative attitude in 81.9%. Conclusion. It is concluded that there is a highly significant relationship between knowledge and attitude about signs and symptoms of preeclampsia (p=0.001).
