Objective: To determine the correlation between anxiety and depression in patients undergoing haemodialysis treatment in a private IPRESS in northern Lima, 2024. Materials and methods: A quantitative research approach was adopted. In addition, the design followed was descriptive-correlational. A population of 135 patients participated. In the fieldwork, the survey was applied and the Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD-7) and the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) were used as measurement instruments. Results: With regard to anxiety, the most frequent value was "no anxiety is seen" with 46.7% (N=63), followed by "mild anxiety symptoms are seen" with 38.5% (N=52). With regard to depression, the predominant value was "mild depressive symptoms" with 53.3% (N=72), followed by "moderate depressive symptoms" with 18.5% (N=25) and "minimal or none" with 18.5% (N=25). Meanwhile, bivariate analysis obtained a p-value of 0.000 less than 0.05 and a Spearman's rho coefficient equal to 0.585. Conclusions: In a sample of 135 patients, anxiety and depression have a significant, positive and moderate relationship, with a reliability of 95%.
