In this research, an information system connected to an Internet platform IOT (Internet of Things) has been developed to measure the water quality of the Moche River, located on the north coast of Peru, including the provinces of Trujillo, part of Otuzco, Julcan and Santiago de Chuco. It's located between the parallels 7° 46' and 8° 45' south latitude and the meridians 78° 30' and 79° 08' west longitude. He was born in Laguna Grande at 3988 meters above sea level. – Quiruvilca, formerly known as Río Grande, later adopted the names of Río San Lorenzo and Río Constancia. At the highest point in the city of San Juan, about 14 kilometers from its source, it bears the name of the Moche River, which has survived to its mouth. Currently, ANA (National Water Administration) has collected water quality samples in the Moče River basin to determine seasonality, changes in the production, the occurrence of unusual events (injuries, accidents), diseases endemic or epidemics. Because the Moče River collects long-term water quality data, it's difficult to manage or analyze it, thereby avoiding various environmental liabilities, such as industrial, mining, and population activities that damage water quality. For this reason, in this research work, a series of steps were carried out for the implementation of a remote information systemn and the control of water quality in the Moche River using an IOT (internet of things) platform that collects the data. PH level (potential hydrogen ions), degree of turbidity and temperature. To measure water quality we use one of the water quality indices (ICA) which is a value assigned to the body of water to classify its state. As a starting point to be able to make decisions or in processes of disclosure of the state of bodies of water. The scientific methodology used in the research is quantitative since it has focused on an experimental design that allows the collection of numerical data for subsequent analysis and in this way to corroborate our hypothesis. The information system allowed the collection of data (PH, turbidity and temperature) on the water quality of the Moche River and thus serves for the analysis of water quality control management. This information system would be useful for the national water authority (ANA).
