The objective of this research was to determine how the application of "COLE" Virtual Program improves the reading comprehension of narrative texts in second grade students of primary level from “Santa Edelmira" school in Trujillo, 2021. The type of research was applied with the quasi-experimental design having a sample made up of 48 students. The Mann-Whitney U statistical test was taken and all the analysis was processed through Excel and IBM SPSS software version 26. As a data collection instrument, the "Reading Comprehension Learning Test" was taken, which was adapted to be applied virtually, this test was validated through the expert judgment technique and processed in Excel using the calculation of Aiken's V and the reliability of the instrument was tested by the Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient, which gave a value of 0.867 obtaining that the instrument is reliable. Three induction activities were developed with the management of technological resources and 15 learning sessions were applied in three months. The results reveal that the students developed reading comprehension, with 65% at the level achieved and 35% in process, as shown by the results of the non-parametric Mann - Whitney U test with a value p = 0.0000 < 0.05. Overall, it may be said that the application of the Virtual Program "COLE" significantly improved the reading comprehension of narrative texts.
