ABSTRACT The study "Class Identity in Political Culture among Youth at the National University of Trujillo – Valle Jequetepeque 2021" focuses on understanding the socio-political dynamics from an anthropological perspective of class identity. The qualitative research analyzes the influence of class identity on the political culture of university students, considering indicators such as behavior associated with class, personal recognition of belonging to a class, and the adopted discourse. Political culture is addressed in its cognitive, emotional, and evaluative dimensions towards the political system. The main objective is to determine how class identity affects political culture in these young individuals. The research focuses on describing, analyzing, and evaluating the construction of class identity and its manifestation in the relationship with political culture. Class identity, as a significant social variable, can influence the perception and response to political issues, impacting civic engagement.
