The objective of this research project was to evaluate the antibacterial effect of Core-Shell Ag/TiO2 nanoparticles at four different concentrations (1.04; 2.08; 3.11; 4.15 ug/ml) by means of the modified Kirby Bauer method with holes. observes that the increase in the concentration of nanoparticles generates a greater antibacterial effect, inhibiting the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) was also obtained for which the evaluation was carried out in microplates and the minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) for which it was sown in Petri dishes with nutrient agar, both evaluations showed equal values for E. coli (1.87 ug/ml) and S. aureus (1.66 ug/ml). The statistical analysis concluded the existence of significant differences between the evaluated treatments.
