One of the phytophagous insects that is currently attacking the citrus crop is Coccus hesperidum, considered a secondary pest, but if it is not controlled in time it can become a major pest, for this reason it was proposed to look for alternatives to control this pest. The research work was carried out in Fundo San Nicolas of the company Intipa Foods S.A.C, Jayanca - Lambayeque, the work was installed on July 20, 2021, with the objective of knowing the effectiveness of agricultural vegetable oils on the populations of Coccus hesperidum in the Tahiti lemon crop. Eight treatments with four replicates were used, each replicate consisted of two trees and for the evaluation five leaves per tree were considered randomly. To determine the immediate and residual effect of the products under study, they were evaluated one day before application and then every three days until twelve days after application of the treatments. The results obtained showed that the agricultural oils presented greater efficacy on Coccus hesperidum up to twelve days after application in the treatments with LEMURIA-AG, BIOMITE and HURAKAN, showing 86.7%, 80.2% and 80% control, respectively, in nymphs plus adults.
