The research was carried out in the urban sector Reservorio Chicago, which is located in the district of Trujillo, province of Trujillo, in La Libertad. The main objective of this study was to calculate the coefficients of variation of the maximum daily and maximum hourly consumption of drinking water in this location. In terms of methodology, a quantitative approach was used applied through a non-experimental and cross-sectional design, because the population was clearly defined. To collect the necessary data, a documentary analysis of the SCADA database was carried out using macro-measurement belonging to the EPS Sedalib SA corresponding to the years 2021 and 2022. These data were subjected to a statistical analysis using specialized software, which included the generation of daily and hourly consumption graphs in Excel sheets. Additionally, an outlieranalysis was performed and the relationship between temperature and consumption was evaluated using Minitab v.19 software. The results showed that the coefficients of variationfor the maximum daily consumption were K1 = 1.29 (in 2021) and K1 = 1.34 (in 2022) while, for the maximum hourly consumption, the coefficients of variation were K2 = 2.45 (in 2021) and K2 = 2.58 (in 2022). The maximum daily consumption was calculated, reaching 1578.61 m 3 /day (in 2021) and 1596.11 m3 /day (in 2022). Calculated at maximum hourly consumption, values of 215.32 m 3 /h (in 2021) and 228.56 m 3 /h (in 2022) were recorded. The consumption pattern curve is calculated in the daily curves, indicating that Saturdays will show higher consumption compared to other days of the week. The pattern curve of the consumption schedule is determined where two peaks are identified: one around 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and another between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
