The present study was to establish the influence of Pharmacotherapeutic Follow-up on adherence to therapeutic treatment in hypertensive individuals from a Private Clinic in Cajamarca - 2019, the study methodology was descriptive, observational and statistical; The data analyzed were the age of the patients, level of education, diagnoses associated with comorbidities in hypertensive patients, number of prescribed medications. To determine adherence to pharmacological treatment, the Morisky-Green-Levine test was used in a population of 26 people with a confirmed diagnosis of arterial hypertension, of which 27% (07) were men and 73% (19) were women, in the observed results, arterial hypertension was obtained as health problems with 40.00% ( 26), followed by type II diabetes mellitus with 15.38% (10), gastritis with 12.30% (8), and in a lower percentage asthma, hemorrhoids, cramps among others with 1.54% ( 1). The most prescribed drugs for hypertensive patients were losartan 50 mg tablets with 11.25% (9), followed by telmisartan 80 mg/hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg tablets with 10% (8). A total of 55 PRMs were found; with a predominance of 41.82% (23) corresponding to "Noncompliance", 65 MRIs were also observed that the patients presented, of which the "Quantitative Ineffectiveness" MRI predominated with 60.00% (39), followed by " Untreated Health Problem” (dyslipidemia, headache, asthma), with 15.38% (10), and a lower percentage “Quantitative Insecurity” (headache, obesity, gastritis) with 6.15% (4). Of the 65 NMRs identified, 86.15% (56) were resolved and to resolve the NMRs detected, the most frequent Pharmaceutical Intervention was "Education to the patient" with 86.15% (56), after concluding with the pharmacotherapeutic follow-up, adherence to the treatment of patients was achieved, resulting in 96% (25) adherents. At the end of the study, a statistically significant impact was obtained by reducing systolic blood pressure from 142.92 to 122.56 mmHg (p < 0.05) and diastolic blood pressure from 89.46 to 74.48 mmHg (p < 0). .05). It is concluded that Pharmacotherapeutic Follow-up significantly influences adherence to treatment in hypertensive patients.
