The currently research refers to a proposal of a didactic model based on the critical-reflexive approach as an alternative to improve the teaching performance in the schools of the district of Moche. For this, the level of performance reflected by the teachers was investigated, mainly in the pedagogical, institutional-collegiate and ethical-reflexive dimensions. The goal of this research was the elaboration of a proposal for a didactic model with the purpose of contributing to the attention of the identified problem and improve the teaching performance. Its typology responds to being descriptive-propositional, whose starting point was the diagnosis of the teaching performance of the schools in the district of Moche, using as an instrument the "Scale of self-assessment of teaching performance", identifying that most of the teachers who are objects of study, showed a regular level, highlighting higher rates of difficulty in the institutional-collegiate and ethical-reflexive dimensions of performance. A didactic model is proposed with theoretical-practical bases supported by the critical-reflective approach, whose central components are the shared didactic focused on the exercise of the reflective cycle of pedagogical practice and professional training and strengthening actions to improve the teachers’ performance.
