ABSTRACT The present investigation was conducted in an area of 100.00 m2 located within the campus of the National University of Trujillo - Santiago de Chuco branch, Santiago de Chuco province, at an altitude of 3101 meters above sea level, with the main objective of determining the effect of the three doses of efficient microorganisms on the yield of Linum usitatissimum L, in Santiago de Chuco. The treatments applied were amounts of 0; 0,3; 0,45 and 0,6 L of efficient microorganisms for treatments T0, T1, T2 and T3, respectively. The experiment was conducted under field conditions using a randomized complete block design. The quantitative variables evaluated were plant height, number of tillers per plant, number of capsules per plant, weight of 100 seeds, yield; reaching positive effects of the treatments with EM (T1, T2 and T3) on flax yield, obtaining significant influences according to statistical analysis in plant height from 92,58 cm to 75,37 cm, number of tillers per plant from 7 to 5, number of capsules from 132 to 93, weight of 1000 seeds from 8,88 g to 7,83 g and yield from 5125,00 kg.ha-1 to 3606,25 kg.ha-1, compared to the control treatment. The analysis of results was done at 95% reliability by ANOVA analysis of variance. It was concluded that the application of efficient microorganisms at a dose of 0,6 L (T3) obtained the best performance on flax yield in Santiago de Chuco, La Libertad.
