ABSTRACT The purpose of this research work is to demonstrate that financial planning is a tool that improves the financial - economic management of the Clinica Santa Ana SAC, year 2018, because it allows to take an adequate administration of the economic and financial resources, in addition to analyzing the improvements that decision making brings in terms of sustainable growth and market positioning. The research used the analytical - synthetic and descriptive - application method, of non experimental design where the sample is the Clinica Santa Ana SAC who was subject to research through the use of techniques and instruments in order to collet reliable information from the reality of the company. The results obtained are detailed in tables and figures determining that the company has not carried out financial planning, therefore the research is aimed at improving the management of the company by implementing a plan based on its needs and expectations in order to meet the objectives. From the research it is concludes that implementing the financial planning in 2018 allowed to improve the economic – financial situation by meeting the objectives reflected in obtaining utility because of implementing portfolio, segmentation and positioning strategies and make rational disbursements which are evidenced in obtaining positive financial indicators related to liquidity and profitability.
