The main objective of this present bibliographic research was to determine how the game enhances child development in children under 3 years of age and specifically to describe child development, as well as to identify the importance of the game in its potentialization and to describe games that enhance child development in boys and girls under 3 years of age. For the theoretical framework, within the description of child development, the concepts of development, child development, influences on development and development areas were used. In the description of the game, the concepts of children's game, characteristics, importance and levels of game development were used. In the potentialization of child development, the game was described in relation to physical, cognitive and psychosocial development. Finally, games were described to enhance child development month by month. The present study was based on a simple descriptive design, using the filing and documentary analysis. Children's game constitutes the action in which the boy or girl satisfies his need to learn; It is a necessary activity that stimulates different components of child development such as the cognitive (intellectual) and affective (emotional) development of the child.
