ABSTRACT This professional sufficiency report is the product of interest in analytically addressing family disintegration and its influence on pregnancies in adolescents between 14-19 yearsof age in the Alameda-Viru District sector. This document is the product of an applied research based on an explanatory design, for which we worked with a sample of fifteen (15) women between the ages of 14 and 19 who have had a teenage pregnancy, to whomthe the data collection instrument. The results obtained show that adolescents have had experience with early pregnancy associated with problems of absence of one or both parents, failing that, little paternal interest in upbringing and education, etc. These conditions implied a very difficult gestation process for adolescents since many of them suffered from family and social isolation, loneliness, personal abandonment, and discrimination. This situation is what allows us to propose that it should be considered thatfamilies, educational centers, state institutions through their social welfare area should implement awareness and training programs for the family and youth in general on important issues such as prevention of teenage pregnancies, strengthen family ties, etc., and thus achieve the comprehensive development of the community.
