ABSTRACT The main objective of this work of professional sufficiency is to present the water resource management to operate with automatic control 11 787 hectares of sugar cane in the company Agrolmos, having as specific objectives to present the water supply and demand, to describe the irrigation and fertigation system, to present the automation system and the maintenance plan. This work is developed with information based on professional experience, internal company information and bibliographic reviews. In the case of supply, the surface supply guaranteed by the concessionaire and the subway supply from the wells owned by the company are described, for the water demand of sugar cane, the climatic factors of the area are shown. In the description of the irrigation and fertigation system, the pivot sprinkler system is described, describing each hydraulic component and the composition of the networks. In the automation system, its components, operation scheme and the information parameters of the operation and monitoring screens in the central room are described. Finally, the maintenance plans for the irrigation system are also shown, detailing the activities, frequencies and groups for the development of the same, as well as some projects under development. In summary, this work shows different points of development in order to optimize the management of water resources.
