This thesis addresses the design and manufacture of a Pin on Disk adhesive wear testing machine, with the aim of providing an effective and accurate tool for the evaluation of materials and coatings under sliding contact conditions. Computer-aided design and advanced manufacturing techniques were used to develop compact, robust equipment that meets the required accuracy and reliability standards. The designed machine was subjected to extensive testing, demonstrating its ability to perform adhesive wear tests under various operating conditions. Consistent and reliable results were obtained, validating the effectiveness and viability of the machine for applications in research and development in the field of tribology.
