ABSTRACT The purpose of the research was to analyze the implementation of the National Policy against Trafficking in Persons to 2030 in La Libertad. The Palermo Protocol (2000) is the basis on which the signatory countries incorporate into their legislation penalties to punish trafficking and the mechanisms of action to respond to it are structured. In Peru, this is materialized through a series of laws and management instruments that support the actions of the State in the fight against this scourge. The research was descriptive, with a non-experimental qualitative design. The population consisted of the member institutions of the Regional Commission for the Fight against Human Trafficking in La Libertad. The instruments used to collect information were the analysis of specialized literature on the subject, review of statistics and qualitative exploration through interviews with representatives of the commission. The results revealed significant progress in the fulfillment of the commission's work plan 2022, such as the creation of provincial commissions and successful work, especially in the prevention of human trafficking; however, it is still necessary to involve the actors and report their actions in a timely and quantifiable manner. As well as the implementation of the shelter for survivors of human trafficking.
