The present research work of Pre-experimental type, whose objective is to strengthen the level of knowledge about prevention of tuberculosis, in the Community Health Agent of the jurisdiction in Chimbote. The population was constituted by 25 community health agents of Chimbote, to whom a test was applied to measure level of knowledge about the prevention of tuberculosis elaborated by the researcher, in the form of Pre - Test and Post - Test with the development of the educational program "Health and well-being for the prevention of tuberculosis". The statistical analysis and processing was carried out with specialized statistical software; reaching the following results. 32% of community health agents of the jurisdiction in Chimbote present a high level of knowledge about the prevention of tuberculosis. The 52% average level of knowledge and the 16% low level of knowledge about the prevention of tuberculosis; achieving the significance of the educational program. Therefore, it is concluded that the educational program "Health and well-being for the prevention of tuberculosis" has a significant and effective relationship with the level of knowledge of community health agents.
