In the investigation, it was determined bioecological aspects of Chondracanthus chamissoi “yuyo” in Paijan, La Libertad Region - Peru during 2015. The geomorphological parameters, accompanying biodiversity and population parameters in 9 prairies of the Paiján coast were analyzed. In the geomorphological parameters, the beach profiles were of flat slopes and varied from 0.03 to 0.57 m vertically and from 9 to 24 m horizontally. In summer-autumn the sand sediment prevailed with accretion on the beaches, while in winter-spring the gravel with evidence of erosion predominated. In the accompanying biodiversity parameters, the largest number of Phylum (9), Order (26) and Family (36) was in spring, and also reached the highest relative abundance of C. chamissoi. On the other hand, the Clench model indicated that the system housed 63 sp., And in the fall there was a loss of 4 effective species compared to spring. In the population parameters, the total length of C. chamissoi varied from 2 to 31 cm, and in autumn the total length did not exceed the Minimum Export Size (8 cm), likewise, 43.3% of C. chamissoi was found in the tetrasporophytic phase, it was also observed that the highest total biomass was 77.5 t in an area of 45.9 ha in spring. Therefore, it is concluded that the population dynamics of C. chamissoi is subject to geomorphological (erosion-accretion), biological (herbivorous) and human activity (extraction) processes that significantly change its environment and its population parameters between the seasons of 2015.
