The present research work entitled Proposal for a MELUDIN program to develop mathematical skills in five-year-old children of an Initial Educational Institution of Angasmarca, has had as its main purpose to design the proposal of said program for the development of mathematical skills in children of the aforementioned location. The work has been prepared taking into account that in the area of mathematics, according to national and international references, Peruvian students register problems in both reading and mathematical comprehension, and for this reason an attempt has bee made to design the proposal as an alternative to the development of mathematical skills at the initial level and in this way, students can enter the other levels in better learning conditions. For this research study, a basic methodology was used, taking into account purposeful descriptive design, considering a population made up of 10 students of the age of 5 years from an educational Institution Nº. 2218 in the Angasmarca hamlet, also taking the techniques of observation, documentary analysis and test, as ell as instruments such as the written test, and the MELUDIN program itself in significant activities; which will be fundamental to obtain these results obtained from the diagnosis that shows the levels in the dimensions of classifying, counting and quantifying, being at an excellent level with 60%, 50% and 70% respectively, consequently at a regular level that has between 20% and 10%; that is why this proposal has been developed to improve mathematical skills as formulated in the general objective of this present research. This proposal has been developed with the purpose of providing adequate teaching of mathematics, taking into account these mathematical skills that will allow us to capture the attention and interest of students in the area of mathematics, thus strengthening the processes in solving problems, through playful activities and simple operations to achieve a better excellent level in the academic performance of children.
