Currently, many companies still rely on manual inspections to verify the weld bead, resulting in imperfections that affect the durability of welded parts, especially in areas that require greater strength. This reliance on inspection by an operator does not always ensure an accurate and reliable evaluation of the welding process, putting the quality of the final product at risk. Faced with this problem, the development of a clamp capable of carrying out both the welding process and the inspection of the weld bead is proposed, thus improving the quality and consistency of the work. This mechanism has 3 tools: The MIG torch, the DREMEL and the camera, each tool has a station which will have a specific time for each process. For the movement of the robotic arm in each process, the use of the Denavit Hatenberg algorithm will be taken into account, which will allow us to establish the reference systems for each link that the robot has. For the next project the first process will be MIG welding. Secondly, a short time will wait for the weld bead to lower its temperature, then the following process will be implemented, which is the use of the DREMEL tool with a braided conical brush accessory to scare the weld bead by removing it. This way the chip. Finally, we will proceed to use the last tool, which is the camera with which an image of the weld bead will be captured and will go through image processing to be able to define the imperfections it may have.
