The main objective of the research presented in this document is to expose the relevance of sensory stimulation in improving attention in five-year-old children. In addition, it seeks to determine whether teachers at the initial level promote student progress through different strategies in the classroom. The study was carried out with a group of 23 five-year-old students from the ""Golden"" classroom of the I.E. ""Isabel Honorio de Lazarte"" in the district of Trujillo, and an experimental and applicative design was used. Observation and an attention test in five-year-old children, which consisted of 15 items, were used to evaluate the impact of the implemented sensory stimulation program. The program consisted of 14 viable sensory stimulation activities that offer a solution to the identified problem, and was based on documentary, bibliographic and field research. The validity of the instrument is determined through the judgment of three teachers specializing in education, and reliability is developed through a pilot test. The results of the study indicate that, after applying the sensory stimulation program, a significant improvement will be observed in the children's attention, which is evidenced by the increase in the attention score (p<0.01) in the post-test compared to . with the pretest. This suggests that sensory stimulation is effective in improving attention in five-year-old children. In conclusion, the study demonstrates that sensory stimulation is a valuable tool to foster the development of attention in five-year-old children, and highlights the importance of implementing effective strategies in the classroom to support student growth and learning.
