This study is of paramount significance to the online education sector, as the elevated costs associated with customer acquisition have been recognized as a major barrier for companies operating in this field. According to Deloitte and other authors such as Fariborzi, Zahedifard, Ogonowski, and Kwahk, the use of digital marketing channels such as email marketing, retargeting, and instant messaging has the potential to reduce acquisition costs and increase purchase decisions. Accordingly, the primary aim of this research is to examine the interplay between email marketing, retargeting, instant messaging, and purchasing decisions among consumers of online education services within the Lima Metropolitan area in 2023. A quantitative approach is utilized through a survey and statistical analysis, with a correlational scope and a non-experimental design. The study's results reveal a moderate correlation between digital marketing strategies and purchasing decisions, with retargeting and instant messaging emerging as the most impactful channels. Moreover, a weak association is observed between email marketing and purchasing decisions. This research makes a significant contribution to the domains of economics and business, offering crucial insights into the most effective strategies for acquiring customers in an efficient and effective manner. Furthermore, the findings obtained can be utilized by other industries and sectors to enhance their customer acquisition capabilities. In summary, this research provides a theoretical and practical framework for improving the efficiency and profitability of companies in the online education sector and other sectors seeking to enhance their customer acquisition capabilities.
