This is an observational, relational, and cross-sectional study. Blood samples were collected from 200 workers, followed by laboratory analysis to measure total cholesterol levels, low-density lipoprotein (LDL), high-density lipoprotein (HDL), triglycerides, and fasting glucose levels. Additionally, blood pressure was measured. Information on lifestyle habits, such as tobacco use, was also gathered. A logarithmic relationship between triglyceride levels and HDL, known as the Atherogenic Plasma Index, was determined. Bivariate analyses were conducted to explore relationships between variables, using the chi-square test of independence.
