Determine the relationship between quality of life and cognitive status in elderly patients at a physical therapy center in Lima, 2024 period. Materials and Methods: Elderly patients aged 60 years and older, of both genders, applied type with a correlational level, quantitative approach. The instruments used were the "Quality of Life Questionnaire (WHOQOL-BREF)" and the "Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE)." Results: The group aged 75 to 79 years represents 30.77%. The group aged 70 to 74 years represents 29.06%. The group aged 65 to 69 years represents 21.37%. The group aged 60 to 64 years represents 9.40%. The group aged 80 years and older also represents 9.40%. There is a slight majority of males, with 52.14%, while 47.86% are females. A majority prevalence of the moderate level is observed, with 43.59% of the total sample. 44.44% of patients have moderate cognitive function. 29.91% have severe cognitive function. 17.09% have mild cognitive function. 8.55% have preserved cognitive function. Regarding the environmental dimension of quality of life, 48.72% have a moderate level. 37.61% have a very low level. 13.68% have a high level. It is observed that the relationship between quality of life and cognitive status is significant (p = 0.000 < 0.05). Likewise, the Spearman coefficient is 0.703. The relationship between the physical health dimension of quality of life and the cognitive status variable is significant (p = 0.000 < 0.05). Likewise, the Spearman coefficient is 0.545. Conclusions: The sample is represented by a slight majority of males. According to the cognitive status of the patients, the largest percentage has moderate cognitive function.
