Anxiety disorders affect approximately 284 million people. These disorders not only have a significant impact on individuals' quality of life but also generate high economic and social costs. The harmful effects of depression and anxiety are evident not only in human suffering but also in the global economy. Work productivity decreases, and healthcare costs increase substantially due to the treatment of these disorders and their comorbidities. Despite the magnitude of this problem, challenges remain in early identification, access to care, and the implementation of effective treatments. This highlights the need for research that addresses these disorders in a comprehensive and multidisciplinary manner. International countries face similar challenges regarding depression, anxiety, and lower back pain.
